Today was a big day for me. It is my birthday, but i also became an Australian. I hade my citizenship ceremony in the city. I pledged my oath to Australia, then had to sing the national anthem. I surprised myself and got quite choked up as i started singing.
Afterwards, Bill and i had a great celebration lunch at the Opera Bar. As you can see from the pics, it was a glorious day. Not a cloud in the sky. There is nowhere better on a day like this than Sydney Harbour.
I felt so alive, and have decided that once i am back on my feet and the leg has healed up, i need to make an extra drive to get the weightloss going again. I am not going to be fat and 45!!
